Description

Description: Requirements are issued under solicitation W52H09-06-R-0122 as a 100% HUBZone Set-Aside solicitation for four items to be awarded as a 5 year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price contract. The four items are compo nents of the Chemical Biological Protective Shelter (CBPS) system. The Ambulatory Doors, 5-4-7029 consist of two separate doors, an inner and outer door. They are installed in the Airlock Supply Assembly of the Chemical Biological Protective Shelter (CBP S). The doors will be required to be painted either tan or green. The basic design is an oval opening, 5ft long by 3 ft wide. The door is skinned with a woven fiberglass fabric coated on one side with a flouropolymer and is heat sealable below 550 F. The door coated fabric has a plastic window and stencil plate and the outer door has vent holes with a removable covering. The aluminum door frame is painted with a chemical agent resistant coating (CARC) paint. A bell timer is installed on the inner door ass embly. Other hardware installed includes door handles, hinges, gasket, spacers, springs, rivets, washers, and Velcro. The items to be procured are: CLIN 0001: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-01-490-9655, P/N: 5-4-7029-1. There is no guaranteed minimum quantity fo r this clin. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 55 each with a contract maximum of 100 each. CLIN 0002: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-01-490-9657, P/N: 5-4-7029-2. There is no guaranteed minimum quantity for this clin. Total estimated quantity over 5 yea rs is 36 each with a contract maximum of 75 each. CLIN 0003: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-10-490-5370, P/N: 5-4-7029-3. This clin has a guaranteed minimum quantity of 15 each. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 75 each with a contract maximum of 150 each . CLIN 0004: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-01-490-9656, P/N: 5-4-7029-4. There is no guaranteed minimum quantity for this clin. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 38 each with a contract maximum of 75 each. First Article Testing is required. FOB is Dest ination. Estimated ordering periods will be from award date through 31 Jun 2011. Estimated solicitation issue date is 31 Jan 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore, h ardcopies will not be provided. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil.
