This purpose of Amendment #1 is to clarify this posting as a Small Businesses Sources Sought announcement and to extend the capability submission date to September 19, 2005. Industrial Economics Corporation, Inc. with contract #68-W-00-072 is the incumbent contractor. Announcement is informational only and the Government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents. All small businesses with the appropriate technical and personnel capability are invited to submit a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement must (1) address the contractor's technical and personnel experience as it relates to all work areas described in the draft Statement of Work http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/oppts_grp/0500391/index.htm , (2) provide examples of relevant technical and personnel experience, and (3) identify the tasks it will achieve using team members or sub-contractors. Small businesses should provide their classification status (i.e. small disadvantaged, service disabled veteran owned, women owned, or HUBZONE). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620. The EPA does not want full scale proposals. Please limit responses to ten (10) pages, double spaced and only provide the information requested in this paragraph.
