Description

Provide A/E Services to include site investigation, design development, drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction period services and site visits. This project will include, but not be limited to the following: construct a new Research Department which requires general construction of architecture and utilities to accommodate staff on the 7th floor shell space. A new Research Department has been established and adequate space must be provided per VA criteria. The interior renovations under this project shall include new walls, doors, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, painting, wall covering and ADA handicapped height handrails. Work under this project will include architectural, interior design and color coordination design. Interior designer must coordinate material and color selections with VA staff to insure appropriateness in the clinical setting. Interior designer will also be working with in-house facility engineer for complete project design. The estimated construction budget is between $100,000-$250,000. The area of consideration for this acquisition is restricted to firms within 50 driving mile radius of the Va Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre. Interested firms must submit two (2) copies of SF330 with appropriate documentation to Contracting Officer (693/049B), VAMC, 1111 East End Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711 by close of business February 10, 2006. NAICS 541330 applies. This is not a request for proposals. This procurement is a 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). See numbered note 24.
