- Description
- TO ALL CONTRACT HOLDERS UNDER THE FSS SCHEDULE 70 The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) requires an Agile Mobile Media (AMM) to replace DLIS?s FED LOG CD-ROM and DVD Product. The AMM will have the advantage of a modern data structure, and extend the presentation of the data into the client-application space. The mobile media will enhance the capabilities currently provided via DLIS?s FED LOG CD-ROM and DVD Product. The rationale is to provide customers with a product that equals and mimics Web behavior and appearance, but operates in off-line operations and in environments where connectivity is non-existent, minimal, or compromised. There are no known, existing systems like this. Interested sources need to identify/indicate the availability/status/schedule of any potential solutions. Identify risk areas or categories and the severity of each. Provide a brief (not more than five pages) White Paper on potential solutions and provide sufficient background to enable the Government to evaluate impact on the acquisition strategy and finalize the requirement. Specify if the vendor has the capability to provide this solution under an existing GSA Schedule, or government contract such as SEWP, GWAC, etc. To receive full consideration responses are due by email to alexander.mavroukakis@gsa.gov the contract specialist by January 17, 2006. Every effort will be made to review responses received after that date. All information received will be Procurement Sensitive and not released to any organization or company outside the Government. This RFI neither constitutes a Request for Proposal nor does it restrict the Government to a specific acquisition approach. This RFI should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary and any response submitted by interested firms will be viewed without prejudice. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e)??Responses to these notices (RFIs) are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
