Description

Description: This is a commercial item acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. This acquisition is for janitorial services to be performed at the Miami VA Medical Center in Miami, FL. Services will include cleaning of lobbies, administrative and clinical areas, public/staff restrooms, waiting areas. Services are to be provided from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. The contract period will consist of a base period of one year with the option to extend the contract for one (1) year. This procurement will be set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, NAICS Code 561720, and size $14.00 mil. The electronic solicitation may be downloaded on http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa. The offeror is responsible for downloading all amendments and other documents from the BOS website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Miami VA Health Care System, Miami, FL. All questions must be submitted in writing to the following email address: toni.smith5@va.gov or fax your written request to Toni A. Smith, Contracting Officer at 305-575-3280. Proposals shall be submitted by February 17, 2006 at 4:00 pm (EDT) either by mail or handcarried. Fax/E-mail proposals shall not be accepted.
