Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6 (Aug 1999). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for a Request for Quote (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as 1 00% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2005-07 effective 03 Jan 06 & FAC 2005-08 effective 05 Jan 2006 and Defense Federal Acquisition R egulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition current to 20050001. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532412 and the size $5.5 Mil. The contractors proposal sh all consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), 0001 W91YMP6010PWF3, Lease of a IHC,4300, 4X2, Terex Telelect for 2 months, with the following options: Mounted over rear axle, turrent mounted winch, 2 section steel boom with internally stored fiberglass 3rd boom section, 15,000 lb. bare drum capacity winch, 100 feet of 1 inch Sampson stable braid rope, tilt poole plummer for transferable pole buddy, command post with multilevel controls, 12 ft # 2  speed digger with 20 inch auger, HOP for: rotation, 2nd/ 3rd sections, winch, digger dig, 2-sets of outriggers, electronic brake controller installed in cab, strobe light. CLIN 0002 Option for 2 Month Lease, CLIN 0003 Option for 2 Month Lease, CLIN 0004 Option for 2 Month Lease. All quotes shall be clearly mark ed with the Solicitation number W9124R-06-T-0013 and e-mailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma.army.mil no later than Close of Business, Mountain Standard Time (MST), 22 Jan 06, 5:00 PM. Offeror that fail to furnish required representations of information as requ ired by 52.212-1,or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on acceptability and price.
