Description

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting bids on solicitation number 201816B002 to furnish all materials and effort to construct a (+/-) 5,800 SF shop building with reinforced concrete floor and metal pitched roof. The walls will be CMU 15 ft. high with total building height of 25 ft; and also construct a office building of (+/-) 2,600 SF on 10 ft. CMU columns, with a parking area under the structure. Will have HVAC system, and have a ramp for ADA accessibility and an observation area. This project will be solicited subject to availability of funds. The project is located at McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge, Jefferson County, Sabine Pass, Texas. The price estimated price magnitude is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The total performance period will be indicated in solicitation. Bid evaluation will be on firm fixed price, low bid, responsive and responsible contractor. The project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition. Both small and large businesses are invited to submit bids. We anticipate a pre bid conference or site investigation to be held with the date indicated in the solicitation. For questions on plans and specifications call Bernie Freeman at 505-248-7956.
