- Description
- The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) has a potential requirement for support services required by the Tower/Flight Service Station (FSS) Branch. The support shall include engineering and lifecycle test support for the National Airspace System (NAS) Flight Service Station automation systems including: Flight Service Automation System (FSAS) Operational and Supportability Implementation System (OASIS); Direct User Access Terminal (DUAT) Service; Model 1 Full Capacity (M1FC) system upgrade projects; and Flight Service Station Engineering and Test (FSS E&T) Laboratory. The North American Industry Classification (NAIC) System code is 541330. A $4 million size standard is applicable to this requirement. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to determine if the WJHTC can provide an opportunity to compete a small business set-aside requirement. The Government intends to award one (1), indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ), time and materials type contract for a period of five (5) years. Commencement date is expected on or around March 2006. A draft statement of work is attached to this announcement. At this time, potential sources are requested to provide a technical submission to include the extent and depth of their PRIME experience (as either a prime or a subcontractor) in performing the same or similar work as described in the attached draft statement of work. No more than two (2) pages shall be submitted. Also, an original and three (3) copies are to be provided. Potential sources are cautioned that no further public announcements may not be made if a competitive small business set-aside is accomplished. Responses to this announcement are due by 4 p.m. (local time) on February 1, 2006, and be directed to FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, Attn: Anne Marie Ternay, ACX-51, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ 08405. E-mail responses WILL NOT be accepted; therefore, potential sources must provide an original and 3 copies of its technical submission, and an original business declaration (attached).
