Description

Requirements are issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for three items to be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price contract with options. The three items to be procured are part of the Chemical Biological Protective Shelter (CBPS). The Ch emical Biological Protective Shelter (CBPS) is a highly mobile, contamination free, environmentally controlled work area for forward deployed Medical Treatment teams/squads. CLIN 0001: Rib Air Test Gauge Assembly, NSN: 6685-01-502-7538, P/N 17-2-0900-1, quantity of 43 each with (2) 100% option periods. Subject assembly is a special tool that is used in setting/adjusting the CBPS Environmental Control Unit rib air fan pressure to a reading 4.2 pounds per square inch (PSI). The gauge portion of the assemb ly has a 2.5 inch diameter dial size with a 0-5 PSI pressure range. The assembly also includes pipe nipple, hose barb, ball valve, pipe sealant and hose clamp components. First Article Test is not required. CLIN 0002: Gauge, Differential, Pressure, N SN: 6685-01-497-5072, P/N 17-1-5755-1, quantity of 16 each with (2) 100% option periods. The gauge will have a pressure range of 0 to 3.0 PSI and max pressure of 25 PSIG. Accuracy is +/- 2% of full range. Unit must be either flush mounted in a 4 13/16 inch opening or surface mounted. High and low pressure limits - two photocells activated, SPDT relays actuated when master pointer crosses the high and low limit pointers. Single relay contact finish is gold plating over silver. A tamperproof knob with spanner key to change set points is required. Operating temperature range is -20F to 120F and operating voltage is 22 to 30 VDC. Maximum weight is 1.7 lbs. First Article Testing is required. CLIN 0003: Gauge, Differential, Pressure, NSN: 6685-01-4 97-5071, P/N 17-1-5754-1, quantity of 18 each with (2) 100% option periods. The gauge will have a pressure range of 0 to 1.0 inches of water and max pressure of 25 PSIG. Accuracy is +/- 2% of full range. Unit must be either flush mounted in a 4 13/16 i nch opening or surface mounted. Photocell activated, SPDT relays actuated when master pointer crosses the limit pointer. Estimated solicitation issue date is 02 February 2006. This solicitat ion incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet.
