Description

The proposed effort is for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to contract DAAH23-01-C-0092 with FY07 options for additional Reliability and Safety/Recapitalization (R&S/RECAP) components and/or kits. This effort will provide the Government Furnis hed Equipment (GFE) requirements needed for 13 War Replacement Aircraft (WRA) and the Extended Block II (EBII) 96 Aircraft programs awarded under separate contracts. The GFE requirements to be provided include selected components for Recapitalization and Reliability and Safety upgrades. An additional option of up to 8 WRAs will be included. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, entitled Only one or a limited n umber of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed acquisition is limited to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company (MDHC), Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code 8V613, 5000 McDowell Road, M esa, AZ 85215-9797. All interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. See Note 22
