Description
The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is seeking proposals from business entities interested in participating in an Unrestricted solicitation which is being issued under Other Than Full and Open Competition Procedures; and under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation covers a single item: NSN 6220-01-469-1817, Panel, Indicating, Light, I/A/W Solicitation SP0570-05-R-0127 is expected to be issued November 10, 2005 with an estimated closing date of November 30, 2005. The solicitation requires proposals on Incremental quantities of 30 EA., 75 EA and 100 EA, and will result in a Firm Fixed Quantity, Fixed Price contract. The Government’s required delivery schedule is 300 days. Delivery shall be for stock to either the Defense Depot in San Joaquin, or the Defense Depot in New Cumberland, PA.Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. The evaluation of offers will utilize Best Value procedures based on Past Performance and Price ; with Price being significantly more important than Past Performance. Prospective contractors should have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. This is a part-numbered item for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data/drawings which can be referenced in the solicitation. Copies of the solicitation package can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home. At the Procurement Gateway homepage, select “Search RFP’s” from the left sidebar. Next, select the RFP you wish to download. RFP’s are in Portable Document Format (PDF), which is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A company must be registered before it can download RFP’s.
