- This acquisition will cover Socks, CWU 86/P, quantity: 2,313 ea. NSN(s) 8475-01-533-3418, 8475-01-533-3419, 8475-01-533-3543, 8475-01-533-3545, and 8475-01-533-3547. This acquisition will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Deliveries are FOB Destination and the destinations are New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. Production lead time is 180 days. The proposed acquisition will be awarded using best value source selection procedures. Technical factors are considered more important than price and are listed in descending order of importance as follows: Past Performance/Experience and DLA Mentoring Business Agreements. First Article Testing (FAT) and Production Lot Test (PLT) are required. Military specifications are available. The applicable specification number is MIL-DTL-32147. The applicable drawing number is 3769AS130. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home. Offerors may also request specifications, patterns, and drawings from http://warfighter.dla.mil. Offerors should click on ?Vendor Info? and then ?Specification/Pattern Request.? The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statues (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services). Generally, Clothing and Textile items as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012 and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted, or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exception applies.
