- The U.S. Department of State has a requirement for 8 parking spaces. The Department is seeking to identify vendors within San Francisco area to provide this service. This request is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All vendors MUST submit their quote via fax on 703-875-6006 or email BarnesBL2@state.gov by close of business January 26, 2006 in order to be considered for award. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any quotes received that do not meet all of the agency requirements will be disqualified. The facility must meet or exceed the following requirements: San Francisco Field Office has a requirement for 8 parking spaces on a 24/7 basis for US Government vehicles. The vehicles are full sized Chevrolet Suburban Sports Utility Vehicles equipped with police equipment packages. Each vehicle weighs approximately 10,000 pounds fully loaded. The dimensions of the vehicle are 219 inches long (18.25 feet), 80 inches wide (6.67 feet), and 77 inches high (6.42 feet). The following unique specifications must be met without deviation: (1) Access doors and ramps to and within the garage must accommodate a full size Chevrolet Suburban SUV. (2)The 8 parking spaces must be contained in one location within the garage. The parking spaces must be wide enough to allow for easy access in and out of the vehicles when parked side by side. (3)The garage should be within one half city block of the Field Office which is located at 235 Pine Street, San Francisco, CA 94104 (4) The garage must provide a secure, well-lighted and reasonably ventilated area for the 8 vehicles. (5) The garage must be accessible 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. (6) The garage must provide a working area for Contractors/Venders to make minor repairs/auto detailing. This requirement is to allow for the installation and removal of equipment such as radios, police lights, etc. The space will not be used for routine automobile service requirements such as oil changes, etc. (7) The Period of Performance shall be for one year. Estimated start date: February 1, 2006 and Estimated stop date: January 31, 2007. Inspection of facility will be required prior to award.
