Description

Turnkey Job; Hybrid-Type contract is contemplated. Furnish all materials, labor, equipment & supplies necessary to Design, Fabricate, Test & Install an Automatic Starter Patch Facility IAW Pine Bluff Arsenals (PBA) Equipment Technical Data Package S pecification, TS-2004-ET-01, dated March 2004, Revision D, dated Jan 2006 by the Systems Engineering Div., Direct. of Engineering& Technology for an Automatic Starter Patch Facility which produces impregnated & dried starter patches. Production capacity of the Starter Patch Process Equipment shall be such as to process (impregnate cut/form and dry) not less than 800 sq ft of finished patches or 2000 M8 Starter Sleeves, cut &/or formed IAW Tech Data Package individual parameters all within a 10 hour period (normal shift is 10 hrs/day). The preceding is not all-inclusive. Training also applicable. Following documents provided: Drawings (Dwg.) 13-19-813, entitled Impregnated Patch Assembly (M18, M83, M90); Dwg. 36-1-318  Sleeve, Starter (M8 Smoke Pot); Dw g. 143-15-1, Impregnating Mixture-1; Dwg(s). F-226-22-01 Sheet # 56, Fire Protection Plan; Sheet #62, Electrical One Line; Sheet #63, Electrical Hazardous Location Plan; Sheet #66, Lighting Plan; Sheet #72, Lighting Details; Sheet # 74, Schedules. No n-Government Documents: National Electrical Code, latest edition; National Fire Code, latest edition; AMC-R 385-100, AR 385-64 and DAP am 385-64. The Starter Patch Process Equipment shall be placed at Building 33-520 and is F.O.B. Destination Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas 71602-9500. Period of Performance: Project shall be completed 3 months after building is made available; Qty. 1 Job. Evaluation Criteria is applicable, greater weight for the following license Type 20: High Explosives; Type 21: Low Explo sives or Type 50: Fireworks. Subcontracting Plan required.
