NA Synopsis: A 100% Small Business Set-Aside, firm fixed-price, 5-year requirements contract is anticipated for the following components in support of the Improved Chemical Agent Monitor: Washer, Flat NSN: 6665-01-382-8029 P/N: 442-522 Seal, Nonmetallic NSN: 6665-01-380-9903 P/N: 442-391 The Washer, Flat is made of P.T.F.E., Type V, Grade 2 Per ASTM-D1457 or P.E.F.E. ROD, TYPE I, Grade 1, Class D Per ASTM-D1710 or BS6564, Part 2, Grade A, Type 1. The Seal, Nonmetallic is made of fluorocarbon elastomer, Viton B, color black, IRHD 65 + 5 or SHORE A 65 + 5. A Section C w/ Additional information pertinent to this solicitation must be requested via email to schmidtl@ria.army.mil. Military packaging is required. FOB is destination. The approximate issue date will be February 6, 2006 with an approximate response date of March 6, 2006. First Article Test is required. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the in ternet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time s et for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria. army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitat ion has been released to the internet.
