Description
FISC-San Diego Regional Contracting Department is announcing a requirement for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR Part 12, FAR 13.5 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued and will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAR, FAC 2005-07, effective 1-3-06, and FAC 2005-08, effective 1-5-06, and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. Also the RFQ will incorporate DFAR provisions and clauses, Current to DCN 20051220 Edition. The RFQ is issued as unrestricted and the applicable NAICS code is: 325120. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The material required is: Freon 116 gas, blend of Hexafluoroethane 90%, Nitrous Oxide 10%; nsn: 6830-01-296-2459; Estimated (80) filled, 90lb. Cylinders per year. The Government requires an estimated delivery of (20) cylinders per quarter. The period of performance will be a Base year period and three one year option periods. The cylinders are to be filled with 90% Freon 116 and 10% Nitrous Oxide. Total weight of mixture should be 90 pounds at a pressure of not less than 750 psi at an outside temperature of 72 degrees F when delivered. The color coding of the cylinders is to be orange or gray in accordance with specification BB101B. All valves are required to have CGA-660 type valves. Cylinders are to be contractor owned and the contractor will be responsible for all cylinders markings, valves, hydrostatic testing and the quality of the gas mixture. Deliveries are to be completed within (7) days after the issuance of a delivery order. Delivery of all cylinders will be made to AIMD, Paraloft Division, Code 800, Naval Air Station, North Island, San Diego, CA 92135. Delivery hours will be Monday through Friday, 0600 am ? 1300 pm exclusive of Federal Holidays. Inspection and acceptance will be made at FOB Destination. DFARS 252.204-7004 ?Central Contractor Registration? (CCR) is required and Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote. Utilize the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov and/or call the CCR Assistance Center at 888-227-2423 for more information. The RFQ will be issued on or about 2-7-06 will close on 1600 PM, PST, 3-6-06. The Request for Quotation will be posted to NECO (Navy Electronic Commerce Online) www.neco.navy.mil Qualified Contractors that have experience in the manufacture and furnishing of the stated material are requested to download a copy of the RFQ.
