- The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), a wholly-owned Federal Government Corporation, intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide preventative and repair (remedial) services for the fax machines and printers in several different locations within the Southwest Cluster. Preventative service consists of those scheduled service calls necessary to maintain the equipment in first-class operating condition (e.g., cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts when needed) and should be provided semiannually. Repair (remedial) service consists of those unscheduled service calls necessary for repairs. Therefore all offerors should prepare their quotations in such a way that the service will cover the base period and 2 option years. Base period: 3/1/06 to 12/31/06 Option Year One: 1/1/07 to 12/31/07 Option Year Two: 1/1/08 to 12/31/08.****** This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued.
