- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to solicit for the provision of clinical laboratory testing services for the Federal Medical Center Devens (FMC) located in Ayer, Massachusetts. This solicitation should result in the offer of a contract award that will consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option years for renewal. The contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and licensed facilities required to provide clinical laboratory testing services. The contractor shall transport, process, test, monitor, and report test results on specimens submitted by the FMC. Test results shall be provided via printer or other remote printing device normally within 24 hours of referral. The estimated quantities for tests required for each contract year is 2984 tests. Due to the volume of information, estimated quantities of our most commonly referred tests will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 23, 2006, and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is February 24, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
