- The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma is looking for sources that can meet the specifications below for laundry/dry cleaning service. All companies that can meet the specifications are encouraged to provide lead-time requirements, product brochures, company capabilities, and any other information that the Government should consider. Fax 580-481-5138 All information in response to this announcement shall be e-mailed or faxed to the above, by 27 Jan 2006. The laundry/dry cleaning service description is as follows: The service ranges from routine billeting linen, various special uniforms, and the child development center for the Services Squadron; hospital linen for the Medical Group and oily shop towels for the Aircraft Maintenance Units. The anticipated service is a Basic plus Four option years. Historical value of the service is approximately $281,000 annually. Deliveries per week are Monday through Friday. The 97th Contracting Squadron will consider setting this requirement aside for Hub-Zone and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses if an adequate number of qualified sources are found. This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and it is not to be seen as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and a contract will not be awarded from this announcement. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests.
