Description

Notice of Contract Action (NOCA). This announcement serves as notice to all potential offerors that, on or about 24 January 2006, the 66th Contracting Squadron, at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ), FA2835-06-T-0005 for the acquisition of Septic Services for the 4th Cliff Recreational Facility at Humarock, Massachusetts. All documents will be available electronically at Hanscom Electronic Bulletin Board (HERBB) (http://www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil) and Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industries Classification System (NAICS) code is 562991 and the Small Business standard is $6 million. Award is expected to be made on or about 1 February 2006. This is a Fiscal year 2006 requirement and future years' requirements are subject to availability of funds. The period of performance for this effort is 5 years (Base Year plus four (4) one-year Options). Contractors are reminded and cautioned that only Contracting Officers are legally authorized to commit the Government. This Request for Quotation is being issued using FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures. All respondents must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award. CCR registration can be accomplished at www.ccr.gov.
