- CLINICAL HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES: The contractor will perform all required services identified in the SOW, which will be provided along with the upcoming solicitation posting on or around Tuesday 20 December 2005. Services for clinical housekeeping services are required for two clinic buildings 263 (2nd floor) and building 312 on Dover AFB, DE, totaling an estimated square footage of 10,193 sq ft. The contractor will provide these services in accordance with The American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services of the American Hospital Association (ASHES), The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and all local, state, federal requirements. The contractor will provide Low Level Disinfection as defined by APIC, to include disinfection of all non-critical items which contact intact skin. The initial contract period shall cover 1 February 2005 through 30 September 2006. Option year 1 shall cover 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. Option year 2 shall cover 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008. Option year 3 shall cover 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. Option year 4 shall cover 1 October 2010. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) small businesses. All prospective offerors must have a commercial and government entity (CAGE) code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The Government award will be based on best value with the evaluation factors to be set forth in the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to reserve to award to other than the lowest price. If the Contracting Officer (CO) determine the number of proposals that would otherwise be in the competitive range exceeds the number at which an efficient competition may be conducted, the CO may limit the number of proposals in the competitive range to be the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals.
