- The US Army, Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is soliciting possible sources for the production of 105mm M467A1 Cartridges for full rate production in a multi-year acquisition for FY07-FY11. The M467A1 cartridge consists of a inert projectile that is a ballistic match to the M393A3 HEP projectile, which also utilizes a deep drawn steel cartridge case. Be advised that potential sources will be required to procure cartridges cases in advance of production & procurement to assure availability during this multi-year contract due to the BRAC closing of Riverbank AAP. Production of these cartridges will be limited to the US/ Canadian Industrial base. A performance specification and baseline level 3 TDP will be furnished to interested sources for a competitive acquisition in August 06. The anticipated award will be for approximately 10,000 cartridges per year. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. Electronic submittals are preferred.
