- Description
- The Program Executive Office-Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence and Space (PEO-C41 & Space), Submarine Integration Program Office (PMW 770) seeks information on how an interested Contractor or Team of Contractors might develop, test, produce, integrate, deploy, and support an evolutionary hardware (HW) and software (SW) modernization to those components of the current Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS) used to transmit and receive Very Low Frequency (VLF)/Low Frequency (LF) broadcasts. This modernization will not address the high power amplifiers or the antennas used by the FSBS. This modernization, encompassed in the Low Band Universal Communication System (LBUCS) Program, must provide a totally integrated, supportable, flexible, cost-effective solution across the system's life cycle. Interested parties should review the RFI provided as an attachment to this notice as well as all other supporting documentation herein. Interested parties should respond with a white paper. White papers must be in Microsoft Word for Office 2000 or later compatible format. White papers are due no later than 1600 PST on 23 February 2006.
