Issued by: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Attn: Sharlene McCubbin, Mail Stop T7-I2 Division of Contracts Washington, D.C. 20555 Telephone: 301-415-6565 Facsimile: 301-415-8157 E-Mail SMM3@NRC.GOV PLEASE FURNISH A PRICE QUOTE TO THE ISSUING OFFICE: Offeror shall provide the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) with the following in support of NRC?s AARM/SMM meeting to be held on April 18, 2006 through April 21, 2006 for approximately 35-40 individuals. The individuals will begin arriving the evening of April 18, 2006 and departing in the afternoon on April 21, 2006. NRC REQUIREMENTS The hotel/conference center shall be at least 35 driving miles away from the NRC Headquarters located at 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852 and no more than 50 driving miles from the NRC Headquarters. (Note: MapQuest will be used to determine mileage) The hotel must have the following amenities: suitable conference room(s) with good visibility; business center capabilities; internet access; close proximity to an airport with non-stop service from Chicago, Atlanta, and Dallas/Fort Worth; restaurant; and fitness center. The NRC requires the establishment to have a minimum of a Three Star rating set forth by Mobile Travel Guide. A rating provided by AAA or other rating organizations is acceptable, but shall meet the criteria set forth by the description of a Three Star rating from Mobile Travel Guide found on the following internet site. (http://www.mobiltravelguide.com/mtg/index.jsp?menu=mobil_stars&bodytid=1031) PARKING Parking will not be a separately priced line item therefore the vendor shall cover the cost of parking if necessary. LODGING/MEALS CHARGES The vendor shall charge the NRC for the actual number of participants, which ranges from 35-40 individuals. LODGING 1.
