- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) anticipates issuance of a sole source, cost plus fixed fee contract to Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) for the Chemical and Biological Testing and Diagnostic Development and Verification Services in Support of Agent Defeat, Deny, Disrupt Program. Under this effort, SwRI will test the innovative weapons technology being developed by and for DTRA; to analyze the results of those tests against simulated biological and chemical agents in contractor provided facilities; and to develop and verify new and innovative diagnostic techniques and procedures for testing these weapons. Support for technology development, validation, test, evaluation, and studies related to biological and chemical agent defeat, deny and disrupt missions of DTRA/CXS will also be provided. WAI is the only responsible source capable of supporting this requirement. This announcement in no way commits the Government to make a contract award and does not authorize the contractor to incur pre-contract costs.
