- Description
- This project will consist of grading, drainage, and hot asphaltic concrete pavement on 15.63 miles of roadway for HI A-AD/STP 6(3) & 200(1), State Route 200, Saddle Road, on the Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii County, State of Hawaii. Estimated price is greater than $40,000,000. This project contains one schedule and one option. Principal work items on the schedule include: 21.5 miles of slope, reference, clearing and grubbing stakes; 15.9 miles of centerline re-establishment; lump sum contractor quality control; 32,200 M gallons water; 149 acres of clearing and grubbing; 508,400 cubic yards of roadway excavation; 123 acres of lava compaction; lump sum slope reconstruction; 44,400 tons subbase, grading E (contractor furnished) ; 25,860 cubic yards of subbase (Government furnished); 111,800 square yards of road reconditioning; 45,000 gallons dust passiative; 27,600 stockpiled aggregate (various grading) 33,300 tons aggregate surface course; 3,580 tons asphalt cement grade PG 64-16; 535 tons antistrip additive, type 3; 53,500 tons superpave asphalt concrete pavement, ? inch nominal maximum size aggregate (smoothness incentive); 920 tons minor hot asphalt concrete for temporary pavement; 174,600 tons hot asphalt treated base course, grading E (material incentive); 11,700 tons asphalt binder, grade PG 64-16; 42,000 linear feet asphalt concrete curb, 4-inch depth; 42,000 linear feet fence smooth wire (stainless steel cable); 156 cubic yards rubble masonry, course pointed finish; 326,310 linear feet pavement markings, Type I solid (various widths) 19,120 raised pavement markers; 18,400 hours traffic control; 170 weeks traffic and safety supervisor; 12,925 linear feet temporary barrier; along with associated surveying, staking, fencing, gates, pipe culverts, and mulching.
