THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The actual solicitation # Q1910060002 will be issued on or about February 6, 2006 at this website. No telephone requests for information will be accepted. Please send requests for information to Judy_Ferris@nps.gov or fax to (518) 664-9830 attn: Contracting Officer. The purpose of this contract is to provide a 50-foot wide boundary fuel break. The length of the break to be cut is approximately 8,440 ft. The intent is to eliminate a continuous arrangement of surface, aerial and canopy fuels NOT a 50 foot clear-cut. There are two components to the 50 feet break, one 10 feet wide and the other 40 feet wide. The solicitation will include a more detailed scope of work. The work of the project is estimated to begin no later than the week of March 13, 2006. NAICS 113310. This project is estimated to be [Federal Acquisition Regulation solicitation range] between $25,000 and $100,000
