Description

This acquisition includes the purchase of QPL items where Texas Instruments cage code 01295 is the approved source, and/or has supplied the item in the past. Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split awards. The intent is to award an indefinite delivery type contract for a one year base and two option years. Solicitation and NSNs will be available for download on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. For questions on the content of the solicitation contact the primary point of contact. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Notes 9, 23 & 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOps on its issue date of February 13, 2006. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 3 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 5962. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
