Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is planning to negotiate on a sole source basis with Dyne Systems Company a Inter-Loc V Dynamometer Controller, including Operators Control Station (qty 1) and Companion II Data Acquisition System (qty 1). This dynamometer must be compatible with existing equipment currently owned by NIOSH. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 7, 2006. The agency will consider any response(s) to this announcement in determining whether or not to compete this requirement. If the agency determines to compete this requirement, a RFQ will be issued solely to the responders of this notice and a subsequent presolicitation notice will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of a Federal Contract. Vendors may register at www.ccr.gov. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(a).
