- Description
- The Strategic Studies Institute (SSI), United Stated Army War College (USAWC) Academic Engagement Program, seeks long term, collaborative conceptual research, mutual benefit, partnerships on national security issues, with distinguished academic and o ther non-profit institutions. The US Army War College partnership will assist these institutions in becoming or continuing as a center of excellence. There are many informal methods to encourage collaborations. The specific formal partnership method so licited is co-sponsored conferences, with the conceptual research published on an unclassified basis and without copyright restrictions. The normal end products of an academic conference are scholarly presentations, research papers, monographs or books p ublished by the SSI. The research products assess and make recommendations on strategic issues and policies of importance to the Army and are used in the professional development of USAWC faculty and students. Additionally, SSI publications are distribut ed to key leaders in the Army and Department of Defense, the broader military educational system, Congress, the media, other domestic and international think tanks and defense institutes, and major colleges and universities. The Government reserves the ri ght to select for award all, some or none of the quotes received and make multiple awards on a best value basis. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611710. The size standard is $6.5M average annual receipts for the past three fiscal years.
