- This synopsis is notification of the Agencys intent to extend contract DABT11-00-C-0007 for a period of six months starting 01 Apr 06 through 30 Sep 06 to the incumbent contractor, IAP World Services, Inc, 7315 N. Atlantic Ave., Cape Canaveral, FL 3 2920-3721. A competitive contract originally started on 01 Oct 00 for installation support services at Fort Gordon, GA, in fifteen functional areas: I-Mobilization Related Missions, Deployment and Contingency Planning Services; II-Resource Management Serv ices; III-Engineer Work Order Reception, Tracking and Design Services; IV-Environmental Effects Services; V-U-Do-It Services; VI-Facilities Maintenance and Repair Services, VII-Grounds and Surfaced Areas Services; VIII-Pest Control Services; IX-Plant Opera tions Services; X- Project Accomplishment Services; XI-Housing Services, XII-Transportation Services, XIII-Installation Transportation Motor Pool Services, XIV-Installation Supply Services, XV-Maintenance, Communication-Electronic, Vehicles and General Sup port Equipment Repair. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract. The contract type is a cost plus award fee. The extension will provide uninterrupted services to the Fort Gordon installation pending award of a competitive follow-on contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is posted for 15 days. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this extension period would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written r esponse is received, the contract will be extended without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract extension period based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
