- Project consists of modifications to the existing Chosin firing range berm: construction of a ten foot wide reinforced concrete channel for the future targeting system; extending the existing targeting berm with contaminated soil excavated from the new concrete channel construction and imported soil; construction of a ten foot wide concrete access roadway to connect the new channel to the existing roadway; installation of a new drainage system to drain the new concrete channel; minor modification to the existing fabriform drainage ditch (i.e., outlet for the new drainage system); grading and sodding the extended targeting berm; relocate existing pop-up sprinkler heads and other incidental work. Work to be performed at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. Procurement to be issued as an 8(a) competitive set-aside acquisition.
