- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) intends to solicit competitive bids for an Anechoic Antenna Chamber. Chamber external dimensions of 25? x 14? x 14? and rectangular in shape. Chamber shall reside in a climate controlled indoor space. The chamber shall have an operational frequency range covering cellular through S-band (~850 MHz to ~2.5 GHz) with an amplitude error of < ?1 dB in the quiet zone. It shall also have an extended frequency range of 275 ? 6000 MHz with an amplitude error of < ?3 dB in the quiet zone. Chamber shielding must be >90 dB from 275 MHz to 6 GHz. Additional specifications will be included within the solicitation document. This chamber shall be a turn-key system that will allow for measurement of typical antenna gain patterns and parameters and will consist of a fully integrated operational system that requires no fabrication or set-up on the part of NSWC PC. They system shall consist of an anechoic chamber, a dual axis antenna positioning system, calibrated source antennas, and cables together with a fully integrated software suite and computer to control the antenna positioner, signal sources/receivers, and generate measurement and analysis plots. Vendor will provide complete on-site assembly and integration as well as initial training and support. The chamber will be delivered and installed in the designated building at the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 334220 applies. SBA Size Standard is 750 employees. FSC is 6625. A request for proposal will be utilized in awarding this action on or about 29 March 2006.
