- The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified insurance brokerage firms to assist the Trust?s Business and Finance Department in meeting the Trust?s property, liability, and certain other insurance requirements and to advise the Trust on addressing risk management requirements that are in the best interest of the Trust. Scope of services may include but is not limited to negotiating and purchasing insurance on behalf of the Trust. The Presidio of San Francisco is a national park and a National Historic Landmark District. Proposals will be evaluated based upon the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), which may include (a) firm?s background and experience in providing services to organizations similar to the Trust, (b) professional qualifications of the principal(s) and proposed key personnel on the team, (c) past performance determined by reference checks, (d) adequate personnel and resources to handle Trust requests, and (e) proposed compensation plan. The Trust anticipates awarding one (1) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one (1) year base term plus four (4) option years. Interested, qualified firms may request ?RFP-2006-058? by fax to Lynda Sakseangvirat, Contracts Administrator at (415) 561-4485 or email lsak@presidiotrust.gov no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Telephone requests will not be accepted. RFP will be available early February 2006. Proposals will be due to the Trust no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2006. DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Qualified small businesses (including small disadvantaged businesses, minority- and women-owned small businesses) are encouraged to respond. The Presidio Trust strongly encourages prime contractors to utilize small businesses, SDBs, HUBZone SBCs, minority- and women-owned small businesses to the fullest extent consistent with efficient contract performance. The Presidio Trust is a wholly-owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
