Description

Description: Notice to Interested Parties  TACOM Rock Island is seeking sources with experience in machining from Titanium 6A-4LV per AMS-T-9047. Note: All dimensions are metric millimeters except as noted. Length- over all 1372.5 with various features: least amount of tolerance .05. Width - over all 127.50 with various features of raised keys and recesses of one being convex 120 minus 30' degree 'v' x 1133.0 long: least amount tolerance .03. Thickness- over all envelope of 3.100 with actual feature thickness of 34. 0-0.10, with at one end an offset of .484 x 6.3778. Part also includes: 1) thru holes, 50.00+0.01dia at .03 true position regardless of size 2) raised keys, 37.97-0.03 width at .015 location 3) threaded holes, 5 x 0.8 x 10 depth 4) subsequent bronze wear strips attached and machined to profile tolerance of .05. Approximate raw stock is 690 cu.in. Of which approximately 44% is machined away. Quantities are unknown at this time. This machining service is urgently needed for National Defense.
