Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a requirement for the supply of aggregate to the Purvis Staging Area. This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) requirement for supplies. The contractor is to provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to deliver the specified rock with the specifications listed herein. SPECIFICATIONS: PURVIS STAGING AREA, PURVIS, MISSISSIPPI DELIVERED BASE AGGREGATE FEMA is in need of a supply of base aggregate to be delivered and spread by dump truck (tailgate gap drop) to allow continued transportation activities at the Purvis Staging Area, located at 246 Purvis to Brooklyn Road, Purvis, MS 39475. This is a travel trailer staging area for FEMA. Trailers are transported into and out of the staging area each day. Due to heavy traffic on the property, the vendor will be contacted to deliver base aggregate, the date and quantity to be determined on an on-call basis. Estimated quantity per month is approximately 4,000 cubic yards. The actual amounts per month may vary depending on the grounds condition. LOCATION: Purvis Staging Area, located at 246 Purvis to Brooklyn Road, Purvis, MS 39475. DELIVERY PERIOD: Base Aggregate is to be delivered starting 6 February through 30 September 2006. Delivery dates will be coordinated with FEMA on-site staff. PROCUREMENT AND PAYMENT: Payment will be invoiced by the nearest cubic yard delivered. Payment to be based on the actual quantity received SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Operation of delivery equipment shall be conducted in accordance with the State and Local policies and/or regulations. All dump trucks are required to have backup alarms and tailgates.
