- The US Army, NRCC Carlisle Barracks intends to issue, on a sole-source basis under simplified acquisition procedures, an order with the European and Pacific Stars and Stripes newspaper in Washington D.C. for 796 microfilm reels of the European, Pacif ic, and Mid-Eastern editions of the Stars and Stripes newspaper for various years (1963-2005). The European & Pacific Stars and Stripes newspaper is the only known source that can provide these microfilm reels. This is neither a request for quotations nor an announcement of forthcoming solicitation. All responses must be received by February 8th, 2006. If no affirmative written responses are received by the due date indicating that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with the European and Pa cific Stars and Stripes Newspaper for the requirement stated above.
