- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number is W911RZ-06-R-0004. This solicitation is being issues as a Request for Quote(RFQ). The Solicitation documents incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-08. The proposed contract will be 100% set-aside for Small Business. For this acquisition, the Small Business Size and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532111 and 532120, size standard is $21.5M. List of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and unites of measure: Lease of vehicles for a 6 month period: 9 February 2006 to 31 July 2006. CLIN 0001: Rental of 7 each Mid size SUV, automatic, for 6 months to be utilized in and around Fort Carson/Colorado Springs, CO. Rate: __________ per 6 month. ____________ mileage. Vendor shall provide, without additional charge, materials and service for oil changes; transmission flushes, brake pad replacements, and shall repair or replace any belts, hoses, bulbs or tires that are damaged due to normal wear and tear. The Government will only be responsible for providing fuel and for performance of 1st echelon maintenance (i.e. tire pressure, fuel/oil/antifreeze/window wash levels). The SUV's shall be delivered to 3rd ACR, BLDG 9621 Butts Army Airfield, Fort Carson, Colorado within 24 hours of contract award. The Government will comply with all pertinent State and local laws and regulations. The contractor shall, without additional charge, have mechanical roadside assistance available 24 hours a day. The Government should call _________________ if breakdown/accident occurs. In the event that a vehicle is not available for Government use for ________ hours/days, without fault or n eglect on the part of the Government, Vendor shall, without additional charge, provide a replacement vehicle. In the event the vehicles sustain damage, the Vendor shall immediately notify the Contracting Officer and provide an itemized list of damages BEF ORE any damages can be paid. Miscellaneous Charges: The Government will be responsible for returning the vehicles filled with fuel and clean. In the event vehicles are not returned filled with fuel or clean, charges of $________ per gallon and a maximum cleaning fee of $_________ will be assessed by the Vendor. The Government will be responsible for all violations their drivers receive while operating the Vendor's vehicle. Any charges due to neglect must be itemized and submitted to the Contracting Offi cer before payment can be made. CLIN 0002: Rental of 37 each 4 Door 1 Ton Pick Up Truck, automatic, for 6 months to be utilized in and around Fort Carson/Colorado Springs, CO. Rate: __________ per 6 month. ____________ mileage. Vendor shall provide , without additional charge, materials and service for oil changes; transmission flushes, brake pad replacements, and shall repair or replace any belts, hoses, bulbs or tires that are damaged due to normal wear and tear.
