DESC: NSN: 1005-01-142-2841, Part Number 11833460, The item to procure is a chamber and discriminator assy used on the M21 BFA SYSTEM. CONSISTS OF: CHAMBER, 11833464 and DISCRIMINATOR ASSY, 11833472. THE DISCRIMINATOR CARTRIDGE AND THE CHAMBER ARE BOTH MADE FROM STAINLESS STEEL CASTINGS. PRECISION MACHINING REQUIRED. HEAT TREAT AND PHOSPHATE COATING ARE ALSO REQUIRED. Requirements are 500 ea, Chamber and Discriminator. FOB is destination. For use on the M240 MG. Estimated issue date is 14 Feb 200 6. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mail ing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and ti me set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside, 5 year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. All or a part of t his action is an unfunded FY06 requirement.
