Description
This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The United States Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to issue a contract on a sole source basis to BAE Systems, Information and Electronics Int egrations, Nashua, NH, for AN/AAR-57(V) Common Missile Warning Systems (CMWSs), spare parts, and engineering and logistics support services for the Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures (ATIRCM)/CMWS and CMWS. A five-year Firm-Fixed-Price/Time and Mate rials, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a maximum ceiling of $1.4B is anticipated. The contract will be awarded under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. A level II drawing package is not available for this system. Specific expertise of the systems is required to perform the engineering support services required under this contract. A minimum security clearance level of SECRET is required. See notes 22 and 26. The U.S. Army C-E LCMC has established the Interactive Business Opportunity Page (IBOP) website as part of the Army Single Face to Industry to allow electronic posting of Request for Proposals (RFP) and Invitation for Bids (IFB) from C-E LCMC to Industry. All parties inter ested in doing business with C-E LCMC are invited to access, operate, and send and receive information from the IBOP at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil. You may access potential C-E LCMC Business Opportunities by simply selecting CECOM  2006 under the head ing view by contracting activity and then click GO. Registration for a user ID and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to C-E LCMC through the IBOP. Offerors submitting bids shall follow the instructions, which are stated in the solicitation, and which describe time, place, and date the bids will be received.
