Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility located in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi has a requirement for scientific instruments, specifically (1) ChannelMaster Horizontal Acoustic Profiling Device capable of 128 cells and broadband technology at 1200 kHZ; (2) Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) to be operated from a moving boat; 1200 kHZ, high resolution modes, 30m maximum range, 0.75m minimum range; (3) Shallow water ADCP with optional mode 7 for shallow water bottom tracking and mode 12, rapid sampling current profiling device with velocity profiling 1-20 cells. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required item based on the RFQ 06ERQQ0011 are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. THIS ACQUISITON WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD OF $100,000.00. The Product Service Code is 6650. The NAICS code is 334519. Quotes are due at 2:00pm on 02/08/2006.
