Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSHQDC-06-Q-00035 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005 08. The United States Secret Service requires various components to upgrade Motorola radios. The proposed items must be compatible with Motorola XTS 3000 and XTS 5000 radios in support of an upgrade of an existing system to AES. The contractor shall furnish the following supplies and quantities and deliver them to: USSS IRMD Washington Navy Yard, 245 Murray Dr., Building 410, Washington DC, 20223 Attn Stan Kimball.
