Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has begun the process to develop an underutilized portion of the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center (VAMC), Columbia, SC, located on Garners Ferry Road as part of VA's enhanced lease program and authority. Thisprogram with its legislative authority allows VA to enter into public/private partnership ventures to enhanced underutilized property. This potential project will outlease approximately 25.7 acres of VAMC property as an enhanced-use lease development initiative.
