Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. There is no solicitation available at this time. TACOM-Rock Island is seeking to identify POTENTIAL SOURCES who have the capability to provide a DC/AC Power Inverter, NSN: 6130-01-492-3067. Drawing Number 11B 298001 for this item is available on-line at https://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/Solinfo/MARKET_SURVEYS/market.htm The following changes/additions to the drawing apply for this sources sought announcement: Note K: The weight of the inverter shall not exceed 140 lbs. Note P: The inverter shall be sufficiently designed to withstand the constant shock and vibration it shall experience mounted in the rear of a HMMWV and traveling off road at speeds up to 60 MPH. Note Q: The inverter shall be sufficiently sealed to prevent the entrance of light rain or mist from the top or at a downward 45 degree direction against any side. Quantities are not known at this time, but it is estimated that approximately 150 per year would be required. The following information is requested: Weight of Inverter, Delivery Schedule and Estimated Price. Submission of information for multiple invert ers of different weights that meet all specifications is encouraged.
