This requirement is a Base Year Plus 2 100% Options, applicable to the CH-47 Ca rgo Helicopter, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company Cage: 77272. Manufacturer of this part requires use of master or coordinated tooling. If only one set of tooling exists and cannot be made avail able to another source for manufacturer of this part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article is not required. Production Lead-time is 105 each, 180 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are enc ouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Notes: 22, 23, and 26.
