Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 12.6) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitat ion; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. AMCOM intends to evaluate offers and award a contract(s) without discussions with offerors. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determ ined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Therefore, offerors' initial offer should contain their best terms from a price and technical standpoint. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) . Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. The solicitation consists of one Contract Line Item Number (CLIN 0001) , Quantity: 30, Unit of issue: 1 each, Description: Provide one of the following commercial sewing machin e models required for the repair of PM Air Warrior Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) located at various ALSE shops currently in service in throughout the Army: Seiko STH-8BLD-3, with 110 volt motor or Consew 206-RB, with 110 volt motor. Sewing Machi nes shall be attached to sewing machine tables and both shall be delivered fully assembled. It is required that the parts on either of these models specified above, are fully interchangeable with the several hundred identical machines currently in service in the US Army ALSE shops. Contract will be FFP and FOB Destination, Texarkana, TX. Inspection and Acceptance to be performed at Destination. The Government may elect to award a single purchase order or award mutiple purchase orders for the same or sim ilar items to two or more sources under this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Represen tations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
