The Chemical Munitions Agency (CMA) has announced that the Chemical Agent Munitions Disposal System (CAMDS) (Deseret Chemical Depot) is scheduled to close 1 Oct 2008, as a result of the final Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) decisions. Due to this short schedule, it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government to extend the existing contracts for the interim period of time until closure is completed.
