Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Alexandria, VA 22060 is soliciting for a base quantity of 3,000 1386LGGGMN-S12906 ISOPROX, High Gloss, Dye-Sublimation Ready Cards/Badges and and option for an additional 3,000 Cards. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) with Simplex Grinnel LP, 6330 Hedgewood Dr., Allentown, PA 18106. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this request for quote. Any questions should be submitted in writing via fax number (703) 767-4246 or e-mail roxana.nichols@dtra.mil. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. The anticipated date for release of the RFQ is 8 February 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. All such quotations must fully demonstrate the offeror?s ability to comply with the requirements of the existing DTRA security system. A determination by the Government not to conduct this acquisition under full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Govermnent. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies and procedures contained in FAR Parts 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
