Description

Eielson AFB, AK has a requirement for rental of two (2) 40 ton articulating end dumps. Rental period will begin 13 Febuary 2006 through 14 March 2006 for 30 consecutive days. Trucks will be rented at a rate of 60 hours per week. Contractor will be responsible for all maintenance to include tire repair, oil changes and any break downs, at no additional cost to the government. Contractor will have 24 hours to repair vehicle or vehicle will be replaced within the same 24 hour period. Contractor will provide 5 gallons of engine oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, 12 tubes of greese, and 5 gallons of hydraulic oil at time of delivery. Vehicles will be delivered to Ft. Greely, Alaska no later than 12 P.M. (Noon) on 13 February 2006. The request for quotation number is FA5004-06-T-0028 and can be downloaded at www.fedbizopps.gov on or after 2 February 2006. This action is open to small business concerns. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 532412, with a business size standard of $6,500,000. This solicitation will be issued electronically. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their contact information by registering as an interested vendor utilizing the “Vendor Notification Service” link within the “Register to Receive Notification” function. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. Offers will be submitted on the Standard Form 1449 and must include as a minimum the items listed in FAR Clause 52.212-1 (b) (1-11) “Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items”.
