- This acquisition will cover Socks, CWU-75/P, quantity: 1,705 pairs. NSN(s): 8475-01-317-7802, 8475-01-315-9400, 8475-01-315-9401, 8475-01-315-9402, 8475-01-315-9403, 8475-01-311-0315. This acquisition will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Deliveries are FOB Destination and the destinations are New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. Production lead time is 180 days. Socks, Flyer?s Anti-Exposure, CWU-75/P shall be made in accordance with MIL-S-29566, 19 October 1990 and Notice 1 Dated 7/16/1997. First Article Testing (FAT) is required. First Article inspection shall consist of one (1) pair of socks for each size ordered. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home. From the Gateway home page, select ?Search RFQs? from the left-hand sidebar and then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFQs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to receive notification of RFQs, prospective offerors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Gateway technical assistance is available at admin_support@pgmail.daps.mil. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns, and drawings on our contracting page at http:ct.dscp.dla.mil/Contracting. Offerors may also request specifications, patterns, and drawings from http://warfighter.dla.mil. Offerors should click on ?Vendor Info? and then ?Specification/Pattern Request.? The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statues (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services). Generally, Clothing and Textile items as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012 and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted, or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exception applies.
